Job Description


Our high-tech client in downtown San Jose has a long term temp position available, through November 2018.


Purchasing Coordinator 


Duties and Responsibilities:


• Review requests from labs’ purchases

• Contact vendors for pricing and availability

• Process purchase requests to issue Purchase Order to vendors

• Follow-up shipment from vendors and provide status to requestors

• Review service contracts for payment terms and processing

• Collaborate with Finance/Accounting for invoicing and payment processing

• Maintain purchasing information, files and records (e.G. Requests for Proposal, purchase orders, vender files, etc.)





Job Requirements

Background and Experience Required:

  • Good with excel, pivots tables, V-lookup
  • Bachelor degree, Accounting degree a plus
  • Experience with purchasing, order management
